Back in Korea and (new) in Shanghai! Part 2

Day 4
Also the one of the busiest day. We had plans for national park, aqua water park and skiing. Visited the national park first.

Got ourselves all prep for the cold weather. The last time we went there all of us werent prepared enough so we were all freezing and hiding behind the walls. This time round, we got ourselves warmed up! (lots and lots of headpack does the job. and of course good coat)

i love winter places only because scenaries are 10 times prettier with white snow covered grounds.

lunch for the day was alright i guess. nothing impressive.

Then we took the cable car up to the dragon peak at yongpyong resort. Second time visiting that place as well!

we gotta do it again!

Aqua water park that was pretty fun. we couldnt visit the hot spring because it was freezing outside, so we had to give it a miss.

changing room that was terrifying. Ladies changed in public. I mean they don't really care who is around. That also meant they walked around naked. Yup. :)

steamboat dinner again.

and finally skiing!

skiing was a lot easier this time. Like none of us fell over and were coping well with the equipments. I hate how it takes you a good 5 mins to climb up to the height you want then you are down at the bottom in a minute. because the plates were so heavy it made climbing up a lot harder and tiring.

skiied for good 2 hrs and we were all exhausted by then. Had to air spray the snow off the plates before we could return. And while i was happily doing it, one of the plate fell and hit my nose bridge. No kidding it hurt like a bitch. TT

abou 20 mins ride to the resort we were spending the night in.

The day ended well. But i kinda thought our tour guide planning of events were haywired. I mean we were shuffling between hot and cold conditions. Braved -10 degrees at the national park, then went up to the dragon peak. Then went into hot water at aqua world then back to the cold when we skiied. boooooooo.

Day 5- Merry Christmas!
Checked out the next day and headed for a cruise and buffet lunch. Stasia fell really ill so she couldnt join us for the cruise but visited the doctors instead.

cruised along Han River whoop whoop

i cannot remember what this place is called. But it's the place they always filmed korean dramas that happened in palaces.

wasnt too bad learning the history of these places. Got boring after awhile...

Last place before dinner, Lotte World. Urgh, dislike major dislike. First because it was so pack, we could hardly ride anything. Second, i was feeling so unwell i didn't even enjoy myself there because i badly wanted to return to the hotel. Was so disappointed because i didn't snap any pictures while in a theme park. i kinda knocked out at a cafe while my sis and cousins explored the area themselves. :(

Mom took pictures of the parade tho. But the pictures turned out blur. hahah

Didn't get anything from their souvenir shop because everything was so pricey.

Ginseng chicken that tasted horrible. We were all actually looking forward to ginseng chicken because the last time we were in korean, the Ginseng chicken we had tasted really good. But this time round it was so bland and the chicken was so hard. Plus i didn't even had appetite for food.

Last hotel in seoul before we flew to shanghai. We spent two nights there. i loved the interior design of the room!

Day 6
Feeling a lot better. Breakfast somewhere i can't remember where.

and and and it snowed!!!!! like heavy snow. So excited we were all snapping pictures.

i wished i took more pictures of snow tho...

shabu shabu for lunch! not too bad, quite refreshing after 5 days of steamboat.

visited the seaweed factory and they had an area where you could get dressed up in their traditional costume.

Jun! He's super nice and kind and friendly and helped us so much through the entire trip! (and of course good looking too duh?!)

lotte duty free.

just had to! (2pm! realise how i was standing in front of chansung. *.*)

free and easy shopping at myeong dong! SPOT THE HUGE GD POSTER. I got nothing at bsx :(

even more GD

Shopped like mad woman in f21 because they were having maga sales. Sales like black friday! I got knee high boots for only $27!!!! Like it was 50% of the original priced and they had another 50% off discounted price. i wish i had more time there

the cotton candy over there were so beautiful and adorable. You can't even do that in singapore because i'd probably melt in seconds.

Black bean noodles. not too bad other than the fact it's so oily.........................

visited namsan tower. We had to walk up a hill that was super steep. Half way through we were all complaining how hard it was to breathe.

At the place where couples locked their locks against railings.

lunch before our flight to shanghai. Don't ask me what my cousin was doing.

one of the best lunch!

End of korea and half way through day 6! Will continue with shanghai post next time!!
Thank you for reading. :)
